The Association was founded in 1925 to improve the dire situation that the Nork Residents were enduring after the collapse of the Halden Estates Company in April 1925.

At a subsequent meeting of residents and prospective residents on November 11 1925, it was agreed that an association be formed whose aims were to protect their interests in matters of local government and to promote social intercourse among the inhabitants of the new estate.

95 years later the aims of the Association are still being upheld. It now has it’s own elected Borough Councillors who live in the area and work for the betterment of all who live in Nork.

By becoming a member you are joining a vibrant group who care about local matters.
